Billing Schedule

Student accounts are billed each semester. Tuition statements are sent out electronically to YSU student emails and authorized users.

Payment is due in full by the specified due date. A monthly payment plan option may be available online via the Penguin Portal if you cannot pay your balance in full.

Payment Plan Enrollment Instructions

Current account information, including charges and payments, is available online via the Penguin Portal. Tuition statements may also be printed from this site.

Important Billing Dates - Summer 2026

Accounts must be either paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by May 4th to avoid late fees (with the exception of Accelerated Online Programs - see separate schedule below)

A $50 late payment fee will be assessed each month after the initial billing due date.

3-Month Payment Plan

1st Payment due date: May 4th, 2026
2nd Payment due date: June 1st, 2026
3rd Payment due date: July 1st, 2026

2-Month Payment Plan

1st Payment due date: June 1st, 2026
2nd Payment due date: July 1st, 2026

Accelerated Online Program due dates:

Summer 2026 First 7 Weeks: May 8th, 2026

Summer 2026 Second 7 weeks: June 26th, 2026

Accelerated Online Programs are not eligible for payment plans, and balances must be paid in full by the due date to avoid financial suspension.
