Student accounts are billed each semester. Tuition statements are sent out electronically to YSU student emails and authorized users.
Payment is due in full by the specified due date. A monthly payment plan option may be available online via the Penguin Portal if you cannot pay your balance in full.
Current account information, including charges and payments, is available online via the Penguin Portal. Tuition statements may also be printed from this site.

Accounts must be either paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by September 1st to avoid late fees (with the exception of Accelerated Online Programs - see separate schedule below)
A $50 late payment fee will be assessed each month after the initial billing due date.

Fall 2026 Second 7 Weeks: October 16th, 2026
Accelerated Online Programs are not eligible for payment plans, and balances must be paid in full by the due date to avoid financial suspension.
