Kilcawley Center closed on May 5 for an exciting renovation. The new, modernized campus center will open in fall of 2027 and will be an exciting addition to the University with striking gathering spaces, flexible and spacious meeting rooms, a new, open dining area, black-box theater, and many more assets to better serve our students and the campus community.

Kilcawley Center will close on May 5 for an exciting renovation. PHASE 1 - MAY 5, 2025 THROUGH MAY 11, 2026

The following areas are closed:

  • The Cove
  • Snack and Chill
  • KC Food Court, Dunkin’, Jamba Juice, Pete’s Treats, Wendy’s
  • All meeting spaces in Kilcawley Center

The following areas have moved to temporary locations:

  • Student Activities and Student Government Offices have moved to Silvestri Hall basement.
  • Kilcawley Center Staff Office relocated to the Training Room, upper level, Kilcawley Center
  • Guest Services/Card Office moved to Beeghly Center lobby
  • Temporary dining and soft seating are available in the Chestnut Room, Kilcawley Center.
  • Rookery Radio and Jambar offices have moved to Bliss Hall
  • Dining provider office moves to Cochran Room
  • Student Center set up crew moves to locations in Silvestri, Beeghly, and new location in Kilcawley Center
  • Resch Academic Success Center relocating to Jones Hall/Maag Library, 3rd floor

Graphic Services is part of YSU’s Department of Student Experience. We provide design services exclusively for YSU student events, student services, and student projects. We design flyers, banners, logos, brochures, and more. Large format printing, mounting and laminating is offered here as well as for the entire YSU community. We accept charge and debit card payment or university chargebacks.


Our staff: In addition to providing quality design services for YSU student events, we are also pleased to provide co-curricular professional experience for new designers. Graphic Services is staffed by a team of students, most of them graphic design majors at YSU’s College of Creative Arts and Communication. Also on staff are one full-time coordinator and a graphic artist.

The meeting location for 2025-26 will be announced soon. Committees meet at the same time on the off weeks.

  • These spaces would be based on what other events are already happening in the building, so a per event  quote would need to be done. 

Formal Garden, seats 130 banquet style or 200 theater style

  • We wouldn’t suggest using this unless it is intended to be an outdoor event.

 

Stambaugh Auditorium Notes: 

If being used more than once in a day or multiple days in a row, fees listed above would be reduced. The above prices do not include any event that already takes place at Stambaugh Auditorium. The above prices also cannot be used for a ticketed event or any event that would be considered a performance (concert, theatre production…). 

The only space that includes virtual meeting support is the boardroom. Virtual meeting support can be provided for the other spaces at a per event quote. These rates are for Youngstown State University events only. 

Stambaugh Auditorium is a full-service event facility, so we can provide additional services beyond what is listed here. These services include food and beverage support, livestream support, additional production support, and more. Please let us know if there is anything you normally need if it is not mentioned above, and we can let you know if we provide it.

Space is available at no charge during our normal operating hours (8:30am-4:00pm M-F, and until 8:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

All the below spaces are on the ground floor and handicap accessible. Use must be scheduled in advance. Additionally, we have several smaller spaces on the upper floors that can be available for study groups or small meetings. If space is needed outside our normal hours, there will be a charge of $25 per hour for groups up to 50 people, and a charge of $50 per hour for up to 100 people. The amount of time charged will be the event plus one hour (minimum is 2 hours) to cover the cost of our employees for set-up, clean-up, and opening and closing the building.

 

The Helen Chapel

  • Seats up to 100 (round and/or long tables)
  • Has kitchen and sound system. Other AV options may be available.
  • No cost during regular operating hours, unless the kitchen is being used.
     

The Parlor

  • Seats 10-15 (couches and chairs)
  • A TV with a computer and webcam is available
  • No cost during regular operating hours.
     

The Parlor Dining Room

  • These spaces would be based on what other events are already happening in the building, so a per event  quote would need to be done.

  • We wouldn’t suggest using this unless it is intended to be an outdoor event.

 

Stambaugh Auditorium Notes: 

If being used more than once in a day or multiple days in a row, fees listed above would be reduced. The above prices do not include any event that already takes place at Stambaugh Auditorium. The above prices also cannot be used for a ticketed event or any event that would be considered a performance (concert, theatre production…). 

The only space that includes virtual meeting support is the boardroom. Virtual meeting support can be provided for the other spaces at a per event quote. These rates are for Youngstown State University events only. 

Stambaugh Auditorium is a full-service event facility, so we can provide additional services beyond what is listed here. These services include food and beverage support, livestream support, additional production support, and more. Please let us know if there is anything you normally need if it is not mentioned above, and we can let you know if we provide it.

Space is available at no charge during our normal operating hours (8:30am-4:00pm M-F, and until 8:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

All the below spaces are on the ground floor and handicap accessible. Use must be scheduled in advance. Additionally, we have several smaller spaces on the upper floors that can be available for study groups or small meetings. If space is needed outside our normal hours, there will be a charge of $25 per hour for groups up to 50 people, and a charge of $50 per hour for up to 100 people. The amount of time charged will be the event plus one hour (minimum is 2 hours) to cover the cost of our employees for set-up, clean-up, and opening and closing the building.

 

The Helen Chapel

  • Seats up to 100 (round and/or long tables)
  • Has kitchen and sound system. Other AV options may be available.
  • No cost during regular operating hours, unless the kitchen is being used.
