APPOINTMENT TIME FOR Summer and Fall 2025 PRIORITY REGISTRATION
- You may register and/or process a change of registration (add/drop) any time during or after your scheduled begin time.
- The last day to add a class or change a grade option for Summer 2025: Full Term, First 7 Week Term, and Workshops is Thursday, May 15, 2025, AOP Summer 1 Term is Wednesday, May 7, 2025, for AOP Summer 2 Term is Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and for Second 7 Week Term is Thursday, July 3, 2025.
The last day to add a class or change a grade option for Fall 2025: Full Term and Workshops is Monday, September 1, 2025, for First 7 Week Term is Thursday, August 28, 2025, AOP Fall 1 Term is Wednesday, August 20, 2025, for AOP Fall 2 Term is Wednesday, October 15, 2025, and for Second 7 Week Term is Thursday, October 23, 2025. - Registration day and time is determined by your classification and the total number of hours completed. This does not include the hours you are enrolled in for Summer or Fall 2025 Semesters.
- All students must have a student record free of financial and administrative holds to be eligible to register.
- While we encourage all students to consult with an advisor about curriculum questions and concerns, advisement is only required for the following students; All students with fewer than 60 hours of credit, College Credit Plus/YEC students, any student not in “Good Academic Standing”, First-semester, Transfer students, all Former students returning to the University and Athletes.
- Please go to http://penguinportal.ysu.edu for instructions on registration. The Penguin Service Center is available Monday through Thursday from 8am-4:30pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm to assist you.

- The last day to add a class or change a grade option for Spring 2026 is Monday, January 12, 2026.
- Registration day and time is determined by your classification and the total number of hours completed. This does not include the hours you are enrolled in for Fall Semester 2025.
- All students must have a student record free of financial and administrative holds to be eligible to register.
- While we encourage all students to consult with an advisor about curriculum questions and concerns, advisement is only required for the following students; Freshmen, Sophomore, College Credit Plus/YEC students, any student not in “Good Academic Standing”, First-semester, Transfer students, all Former students returning to the University and Athletes.
