Institutional Research and Analytics

Institutional Research and Analytics

The Office of Institutional Research & Analytics (IRA) is committed to organizing, maintaining, interpreting and disseminating relevant data to support the University's academic and non-academic management, operations, decision-making and planning functions, as well as overall assessment of institutional effectiveness.

IRA performs data analysis, and generates reports that summarize, visualize, and interpret institutional outcomes.

Core Services

We coordinate and submit official institutional reports to federal, state, and external agencies, including IPEDS, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and other required reporting entities. We also maintain university census reports, common data sets, and official institutional statistics.

We analyze trends related to enrollment, persistence, retention, graduation, and student achievement to support evidence-based planning and student success initiatives. These analyses help identify opportunities for improvement and inform institutional strategy.

We partner with university leadership and campus stakeholders to provide analytical support for strategic planning, benchmarking, and institutional effectiveness efforts.

We develop reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards using Power BI that provide accessible and actionable insights for university departments and leadership. Our work supports operational reporting, strategic initiatives, and campus-wide performance monitoring.

We provide consultation and customized data support to faculty, staff, and administrators through formal data requests, helping stakeholders access the information needed to support planning, research, assessment, and operational decision making.
