RecSports

Looking for a casual sports experience to share with your friends? Then try RecSports! YSU RecSports are a very popular, non-varsity sports opportunity with leagues and one-day tournaments. Whether you have sports experience or not, intramurals are great way to get active and meet new people!

To be eligible for intramural programs or events, participants must be current registered YSU student, faculty, staff, or Rec Center members. 

***Non-YSU members cannot make up more than 25% of the roster per sport.

RecSports Policies:

• Early Registration for leagues: $7.00 per sport

• Registration within 2 Weeks of the Start of the Season for Leagues: $10.00 per sport

• RecSports Tournament Pass: $10.00 for access to all tournaments.

• Semester Pass (Includes All Sports): $20.00

• Refund Policy: Refunds will only be offered in the event of a canceled league or tournament. Refunds are not available for the Semester Pass.

• 7v7 Flag Football (Sept - Nov 2026)

  • Sundays, 12PM - 6PM, Cafaro Field

  • Purchase a flag football league pass, then register your team.

• 7v7 Soccer League (Sept - Nov 2026)

  • Wednesdays, 6PM - 11PM, Watts Tressel Training Center

  • Purchase a soccer league pass, then register your team.

• Ultimate Frisbee League (Sept - Nov 2026)

  • Thursdays, 6PM - 11PM, Cafaro Field

  • Purchase an ultimate frisbee league pass, then register your team.

*Note: If you are looking to join an existing team, please have your team captain add you or register as a free agent.
