The Mile High Club

Time: M-F 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center: Climbing Wall
Description: Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of the Mile-High Club? By climbing to the top of our wall 100 times, you’ve climbed a total of a mile in the air. Once you complete the mile, you can wear your free and NEWLY DESIGNED t-shirt with pride!
Cost: FREE for YSU students and Rec Center Members with valid YSU ID

Fresh Route Friday
Date: Ongoing

Location: Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center: Climbing Wall
Description: Each week the climbing wall will feature a fresh route or two for you to try. You will receive a punch card; if it is punched 10 times in 14 weeks, you will receive a t-shirt. Download the Youngstown State University app to check in!

Adventure Rec Outdoor Gear and Kayaks

Time: During Adventure Rec Resource Center Hours
Location: Adventure Rec Resource Center
Description: Camp, hike, and now KAYAK on a budget! Backpacks, tents, coolers, chairs, cooking equipment, sleeping bags, hammocks, kayaks, and more are available for rent with a college budget in mind. We also have plenty of information on-site to help you decide where your next outdoor adventure is going to be!
Cost: Varies depending on gear/number of nights.

Custom Team Building Programs

Description: Elevate your team, group, or staff to the next level with a team building and challenge course program from Adventure Rec. We offer a wide variety of games that promote and develop the skills that help groups, student organizations, classes, teams, and student staff members elevate their productivity.
