Diplomas for Current Graduation Candidates
Only Spring and Fall doctoral candidates receive their diplomas the day of Commencement. All other graduation candidates receive a diploma holder as they cross the stage. Diplomas are mailed approximately six to eight weeks after the commencement ceremony or official graduation date.
If you need to provide verification of the conferral of your degree/graduation to a potential employer, school, or agency, an official transcript should be ordered via our Transcript Request Page. You can check to see if your degree or certificate has been awarded before ordering your transcript by viewing your academic transcript in your Penguin Portal under Student Records. You also have the option to hold your transcript until grades and/or your degree is posted when placing your order.
Diplomas are mailed via USPS Flate Rate Priority with delivery tracking and are insured.
Diplomas for current graduates cannot be picked up. For additional information on diplomas for current graduation candidates, you can visit our Graduation website.
Diploma Mailing Address/Changing Diploma Mailing Address
Diplomas are mailed to the address you provided during the online graduation application process. If your diploma mailing address changes after you apply for graduation, you must complete the form below and submit it to the Penguin Service Center by the commencement/graduation date. If the commencement/graduation date has passed please call 330-941-6000 or 330-941-2942 and indicate that you are a graduating student who needs to change your diploma mailing address. Changing your address in the Penguin Portal does not change your diploma mailing address.
