WCBA Scholarships

The Williamson College of Business Administration (WCBA) provides a wide range of opportunities to support students in financing their education. Thanks to the generous contributions of donors and alumni, WCBA awards more than $400,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to business students each year.

WCBA Scholarship

Albert & Adele Krotzer Scholarship Fund is an annual scholarship to a full-time business major who maintains at least a 3.0 GPA with at least 30 semester hours completed. Preference is given to juniors and seniors.

Grocery Manufacturer Youngstown Scholarship is a YSU scholarship designated for business majors engaged in the grocery industry or aspiring to own a grocery business.

John A. DePizzo, Jr. Family Foundation Scholarship is awarded to full-time students enrolled in the Williamson College of Business Administration. Eligible recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and reside within one of the five county areas: Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Mercer, or Lawrence. Demonstrated financial need is required, and applicants must complete the FAFSA to be considered.

John S. and Doris M. Andrews Accounting Scholarship recognizes and supports exceptional students pursuing a BSBA in Accounting. Beginning in the sophomore year, this renewable award continues through the senior year for recipients who maintain the established criteria: a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and declared BSBA Accounting major.

Ronald Barnes and Emily Parker Mackall Scholarship is awarded to a business student pursuing a BSBA in Business Economics or Business Analytics & Economics. Eligible recipients must be in their junior or senior year at YSU and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8

The WCBA Alumni Leadership Award is presented to incoming first-semester, first-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at YSU. Eligible candidates must hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and demonstrate meaningful involvement in student leadership and/or community organizations

WCBA Alumni Scholarship is presented to incoming first-semester, first-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at YSU. Eligible candidates must hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and demonstrate meaningful involvement in student leadership and/or community organizations

William Petrych Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Accounting. Eligible recipients must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2.

Williamson Leadership Scholarship is presented to incoming first-semester, first-year students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at YSU. Eligible candidates must hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and demonstrate meaningful involvement in student leadership and/or community organizations
