WHY WILLIAMSON
The Williamson College of Business Administration (WCBA) at Youngstown State University is preparing our students every day to be successful professionals and leaders. We are committed to engaging our students in innovative programs that impact their professional development and our community.
Williamson Hall is Youngstown State University’s newest, most technologically advanced academic building. This is where our business students’ academic and professional preparation begins, but it is also the springboard for a wide range of professional and co-curricular activities. Your classroom experience is enhanced by employer events, leadership organizations, and our extensive internship program. In Williamson Hall you will find our WCBA Student Services Center, WCBA Career Management Center, computer labs, faculty offices, media-enhanced classrooms, Communication and Professional Sales Lab, Financial Services Lab, team rooms, and our WCBA Conference Center.
Communication students have access to a wide range of communication and production facilities. Bliss Hall, the home of our Communication Studies, Journalism, and Multimedia Communication majors, includes a full television studio, classroom, audio production facilities, faculty offices, and student group workspaces. The first floor of Meshel Hall houses our high-tech classrooms, podcasting studio, and a student computer lab. The Payiavlas Classroom in the Don Constantini Multimedia Center opened in 2019. The new multimedia center is located at YSU’s Stambaugh Stadium and serves as a production space for sports broadcasts on ESPN+.
