Ross Morrone is the Academic Marketing and Enrollment Strategy Officer at Youngstown State University (YSU), where he plays a pivotal role in developing and overseeing the university's Enterprise Enrollment Strategy. Collaborating closely with the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Ross orchestrates a comprehensive, integrated system to achieve market share goals aligned with YSU's Strategic Enrollment Plan and Academic Master Plan.

Ross's extensive experience in data and market analysis, strategic project management, and brand strategy development has been instrumental in enhancing YSU's enrollment processes and institutional awareness. Since joining YSU, he has successfully led major marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives, including the development and management of a strategic enrollment plan with Ruffalo Noel Levitz.

Before his current role, Ross served as Chief Marketing Officer at YSU, where he led the university's marketing efforts, managing a substantial budget and overseeing a creative team responsible for web, social media, video, and communication initiatives. His leadership in digital marketing has resulted in impressive metrics, including millions of impressions and clicks through targeted Google Ads campaigns.

Ross's professional journey at YSU began as a Web Developer, and he has progressively advanced through various roles, including Creative Director, Assistant Director, and Director of Marketing, before becoming the Chief Marketing Officer. His contributions have consistently driven the university's strategic marketing and enrollment objectives forward.

In addition to his administrative roles, Ross is also a dedicated educator. He has been teaching at YSU and Brandeis University since 2014, offering courses in strategic analytics, data visualization, and marketing. His academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Youngstown State University and a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
