Participation in Ohio History Day helps students grow as leaders, writers, researchers, and presenters.
Students who participate in the History Day competition report higher confidence on college- and career-readiness skills, like communication, organization, and perseverance. Participation in a History Day contest gives students valuable skills that translate well to college applications and job interviews alike.
Did you know?
Each year, students who register for History Day are eligible for a variety of special awards and scholarships! At the 2024 State History Day contest, 11 different awards were available to students who presented outstanding research on a variety of topics.
