Youngstown State University is teaming with College Pads to improve the experience of finding and moving into on- and off-campus housing. College Pads provides YSU students with an educational tool to help them prepare to review leases, compare campus housing options, rent from high-rated landlords, find roommates and even sublet your existing units. This is a one-stop shop for housing at YSU.
On and Off Campus Housing Options
While the University has relationships with the owners and managers of each property, none of these properties are owned or operated by the University. Therefore, if a student enters into a lease agreement with one of these properties, the University cannot interfere for any reason, including, but not limited to, assisting with the cancellation of a lease should a student want to vacate the property prior to the end of the lease agreement.
Please note that some of these properties do not exclusively lease to Youngstown State University students. Therefore, other tenants of the same building or complex may not be fellow students.
We encourage students and families to fully inspect the properties prior to signing any lease agreement. We also strongly encourage students and families to fully review any lease agreement thoroughly before signing said lease agreement.”
