National History Day - Teacher Resources
Each year, outstanding teachers are nominated for the NHD Teacher of the Year award. The award will recognize two outstanding National History Day (NHD) teachers at the national level, one in the junior and senior divisions. Two winners will be selected from the pool of self-nominated teachers (one in each division). These two teachers will each receive $5,000. If a teacher team wins, they will split the award.
The nomination form will stay open through January 3, 2025.
The Ohio History Connection offers a variety of PD opportunities, both free and paid, relating to both History Day programming as well as general social studies necessities. Find more information below.
