Spring Break Classes at the ETC
Because workforce classes at the Excellence Training Center (ETC) typically run five to eight hours per day, they don’t always fit easily into a traditional semester schedule. To make these hands-on learning opportunities more accessible, four workforce classes will be offered at the ETC during spring break specifically for YSU students.
Students can choose from two additive manufacturing courses, Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), which is the prerequisite for the Vat Photopolymerization course, or two robotics courses that require no prior experience.
Thanks to support from the Youngstown Innovation Hub grant, the cost of these classes will be fully covered for YSU students.
These short-term, immersive courses are a great complement to YSU academic programs. They provide valuable hands-on experience with advanced technologies and help students stand out to employers after graduation.
Classes:
Additive MFG-FDM
Additive MFG-Vat Photopolymerization
Robot Operations
Universal Robot Core Training
