First Day Steps and Book Form

Explanation of the Steps

1. ADD COURSE MATERIALS LINK IN BLACKBOARD (students will need this)
   1. Blackboard Instructions for adding the Course Materials link:
      1. Log in to Blackboard with your instructor username & password.
      2. Navigate to the correct course. 
      3. Under Details & Actions, select Books & Tools. 
      4. Locate B&N's Course Materials tool and click the + sign. 
         1. (This will add a link to your Course Content area)
      5. The link will be hidden from students by default. Click the eye icon to make the link available to students. 
2. ADD PUBLISHER'S LINK AND LINK AT LEAST ONE ASSIGNMENT (so students can find it)
   1. See Publisher rep contact below to assist you in building your course in their platform and for the link. Not all courses require this step, please ensure step 2 is included in the data populated below before proceeding.

3. CLICK THE COURSE MATERIALS LINK ADDED IN STEP 1 (so the course can be mapped to the materials)
   1. Note: If you receive the message "No materials are associated to this course" this means the mapping hasn't yet completed - refresh and try again after ten minutes to ensure it is mapped. 
   2. You won't see what the students will see. Any recent sections added may take up to 24-48 hours once our Bookstore gets the information from YSU and pairs the content for you to proceed with the steps.
