Assessment Handbook
Co-Curricular Assessment Handbook: This document is meant to be a resource to those new(er) to assessment activities and a reference to those who have been participating in assessment activities for some time. The Handbook is in two parts; Part 1 explains the steps in the assessment process, including how to write SLOs, select methods, and analyze results. Part 2 outlines the reporting elements here at YSU and also includes guides to using Taskstream to submit reports
Using Taskstream
The Office of Assessment has transitioned to the Taskstream Assessment Management System in 2018. This online system allows departments to easily create assessment reports, keep all data and files together, and allows for easy reflection on the assessment process and reviews. If your department has new staff or would like a training refresher, please contact the Office of Assessment to schedule a session. Detailed Taskstream guidance can be found in Part 2 of the Co-Curricular Assessment Handbook. These tutorials provide step-by-step instructions for some of the most common actions done in Taskstream. Tutorials come complete with screenshots and helpful tips about the process.
