Sharps Policy

Contaminated sharps (needles, syringes, slides, broken glass, etc.), which contain chemical residue, must be discarded into a green sharps container, clearly labeled "CHEMICALLY-CONTAMINATED SHARPS ".

• When the sharps container is 3/4 full, contact the CMC via webform submission located at ysu.edu/ehs/cmc/waste, or email cmc@ysu.edu.
