WCBA Professional Development Summit: The semi-annual event is a half-day series of panels focusing on topics related to career development and professionalism including information on building a professional portfolio, employer expectations, internships, leadership skills and opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to network with various employers and alumni.

Meet the Employer Day/Virtual

Wednesday, September 16 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Meet the Employer Day: Business students will have an opportunity to network with employers one-on-one to discuss their organizations. This event also provides employers the opportunity to identify talent for internships and full-time positions. Students will learn about the different companies and opportunities locally, regionally, and nationally. Students have time to meet with employers and identify open internship and full-time job opportunities.

YSU business students, as well as accounting students from nearby schools, will have the opportunity to attend virtual panel sessions on topics such as opportunities in accounting, one- on-one networking; the Lariccia School’s Masters of Accountancy Program, what the first two years of professional life are like, internships; using your resume and LinkedIn; gathering forensic evidence; design thinking, women in accounting, and much more!
