The WardBeecher Planetarium’s spooky and spectacular annual Halloween event has beengoing strong since 1974. You won’t believe your eyes or ears! COME INCOSTUME!  Great for all ages, althoughyounger visitors might be scared of the loud music and dark.
 

Celebrate Homecoming Weekend with an evening of great food, wine, and meaningful connections at the Second Annual BCHHS Food & Wine Tour from 5:30–8 p.m. on Friday, October 16.

Reconnect with fellow alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of the college while enjoying food and wine pairings throughout our facilities in Cushwa Hall and Beeghly Center. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to explore our labs, learn about exciting BCHHS initiatives, meet representatives from our student organizations, and see how your support continues to make an impact on our students and programs.

The evening will also feature a basket raffle, recognition of distinguished alumni, and more!

Whether you're returning to campus for the first time in years or continuing a favorite Homecoming tradition, we look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable evening of celebrating the BCHHS community.

YSU Rocks! And so does the Clarence R. Smith Mineral Museum! Join us for a celebration of 25 years of excellence in geological study at YSU. 
 

Witness tradition and creativity on display! Cheer on student organizations and marvel at their creative floats along the parade route! Returning to downtown Youngstown and traveling up Fifth Avenue, secure your spot to watch this tradition. 

It is our popular Halloween light and music extravaganza, presented in a fun, non-scarystyle, making this show ideal for all ages.  Unique songs included that are not inNightlights! COME IN COSTUME if you wish!
 

Celebrate your Penguin Pride with a family-friendly tailgate in M70 lot co-hosted with the YSU Football Alumni, featuring a picnic buffet! Space is limited, RSVP required.

Get creative with Rock Painting at the Maag Library! Turn ordinary stones into colorful works of art.

Celebrate Penguin pride with traditions old and new, including painting the Rock in honor of its 60th anniversary, snapping photos with Pete the Penguin at the Polaroid photo booth, exploring the Mineral Museum as it celebrates its 25th anniversary, and enjoying a variety of fun activities, giveaways, and campus spirit throughout the day!

We’re offering a limited number of adorable penguins available for walk-ups with a voucher starting at 9:30pm. Attend Fall Fire Fest in your YSU Gear to receive a voucher from the Pen Pro team. This event is exclusively for current YSU students. You must present your YSU ID to claim your penguin. One penguin per student. You must be present at the event to stuff a penguin.
