    Major: Biology

    Minor: Chemistry

Student Involvement Highlight: Student Trustee, Academic Senate, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, Honors College Transcribing Club, Honors Trustees, STEM Leadership Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society

Legacy Statement: Throughout my time at YSU, I have become involved in various programs and serving in leadership positions. My legacy will include the Transcribing Club that I founded, and students will continue to serve the local and national community of historians by transcribing historical documents. This year, I have been training a student to succeed my role as founder of the Transcribing Club, including running meetings, collaborating with the Library of Congress, and welcoming new students. Another organization that I have enjoyed serving in a leadership role is the Honors Society of Phi Kappa Phi. As a Student Vice President, I created an Instagram for the organization, reaching out to new students and improving visibility for the honors society on campus. The most important aspect of my legacy will be mentoring incoming students and inspiring them to reach their full potential, whether it be in the classroom or in leadership positions.

    Major: Biology

    Minor: Chemistry

Student Involvement Highlight: Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, Order of Omega Greek Honors Society, Emerging Leader Program, Genetics Club, Biology Club

Legacy Statement: The legacy I leave behind as a YSU graduate reflects on my compassion, empathy, and dedication to my commitments. As a leader in Zeta Tau Alpha, I played an essential role in morphing the experience of members into a more inviting and positive experience. As treasurer, I observed repetitive complaints and recurring situations that would push members to leave our chapter. When I became president, I worked hard to correct mistakes that were made in the past. Our retention and chapter satisfaction with membership skyrocketed. During my presidency, our collective effort to strive for success was acknowledged by our Panhellenic and Greek Campus Life Community when we were awarded Top Sorority of the Year, Highest Sorority GPA of the Year, Top Sorority Greek Sing Performance, and Greek Week Champions. Additionally, I was honored with the first Carrie Anderson Greek Leadership Scholarship offered to sorority women in recognition of my dedication.

Legacy Statement: The legacy I hope to leave behind is that being a leader is about encouraging and building up others. I always try to encourage others because I believe everyone needs positivity to be their best selves. For some people their internal positive is enough, but for others... Well for others I hope my encouragement can be enough to make them see the best in themselves. No good comes from being negative, but I always have experienced that giving kindness to one person helps them give kindness to others.
