Religious accommodation OF students


In accordance with Youngstown State University's Discrimination/Harassment policy (3356-2-03), it is the policy of YSU that there shall be no unlawful discrimination against any individual at the University. In order to support our students and their diverse faiths, philosophies, religious traditions, and other systems of belief, the University adopts a policy consistent with Ohio Revised Code 3345.024, “The Testing Your Faith Act.” More detailed information specifically related to accommodations for students at the University can be found in the Religious Accommodation of Students policy (3356-8-09). The request and complaint procedure can be found in sub-policy 3356-8-09.1. The University also utilizes a non-exhaustive list of religious holidays and festivals when determining appropriate accommodations.
