Bio

Ms. Pleva holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from Youngstown State University. Ms. Pleva also holds the highest level of human resource certifications with the SHRM-SCP and the HRCI SPHR.

Ms. Pleva has an extensive background in Human Resources at a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, where she acted as a business partner in strategic and operational plan development/implementation while providing senior leadership in all areas of HR including labor and employee relations, organization design, talent management, recruiting, retention, organizational culture & change, workforce & succession planning, performance management and learning and development.

Ms. Pleva teaches courses in the Department of Marketing & Management including Employee Relations, Fundamentals of Management, Compensation & Performance Appraisal, Selection, Training & Development, and Managing Others.
