BIO
Ian Kinnaman is a bassist, educator, and composer based in Northeast Ohio. A Maryland native, he began his professional career performing with the Trinity Chamber Orchestra in D.C. before moving to Ohio in 2016. There he studied with bassist and composer Dave Morgan and earned a B.M. in Music Education from Youngstown State University. As an in-demand and versatile performer, Ian maintains an active freelance career spanning jazz, popular, and folk music. He is an original member of Anthony Taddeo’s Alla Boara and has shared the stage with musicians such as Jack Schantz, Joe Hunter, Jamey Haddad (Paul Simon), and Amanda Powell (Apollo’s Fire).
