College Comeback
College Comeback is a YSU enrollment initiative designed to help former students return to YSU to complete their degree. This program will also forgive a portion of their debt. A YSU representative will be reaching out to former students possibly looking to enroll for the fall or spring semester. Anyone interested in this program can contact Molly Burdette at 330-941-6000.
College Comeback Eligibility:
- Students returning to YSU have not been enrolled for 3 semesters
- Students must be in good academic standing
- Students will need to have their FAFSA completed: Complete the FAFSA
- Students must enroll for a minimum of 6 semester hours (Fall or Spring)
- Students must earn a minimum of a 2.0 GPA each semester
- Students have not earned a bachelors degree

Returning Student Information
- Through careful evaluation of coursework already completed at YSU or other colleges and universities, a degree completion plan can be constructed for each student
- Help find most appropriate advisor for the intended degree
- A General Studies degree may be appropriate for students for whom a general bachelor's degree may lead to career advancement or for those students who seek the personal satisfaction of having completed a bachelor's degree
- Help students understand academic transcripts
- Get students started with their financial aid
