The WCBA Student Services Center in the Williamson College of Business Administration (WCBA) is staffed by six full-time, master’s degree-level professionals who are available to students in many ways including academic planning, degree progress, academic success strategies, campus resource referrals, and general guidance. Students are encouraged to meet with their WCBA Academic Advisor at least once a semester to discuss their academic goals.
Freshmen enrolled in YSU 1500 Success Seminar are advised by your YSU 1500 instructor throughout your first year.
Who is my WCBA Academic Advisor?
All other WCBA students are assigned an Academic Advisor based on the first letter of their last name. WCBA students can schedule an appointment with their Academic Advisor through the online scheduling program HANDSHAKE (access through the Penguin Portal).
Students interested in transferring to the WCBA (different college / university or change of major) should call WCBA Student Services at 330.941.2376 to schedule an appointment.
