“It truly was amazing to see the work that our team put in as it led to us securing the bronze medal and cash prize in the competition," said senior Christian Febinger, majoring in Finance - Financial Management track. "Putting YSU in the conversation with universities all around the globe in terms of technological innovation was a great honor.”

Global Scaling Challenge is organized by The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico and offers participating teams a unique opportunity to understand and solve complex scaling needs and challenges that entrepreneurial firms face operating in a highly diverse environment.

Thirty-five teams from eight countries (US, South Korea, Austria, India, UK, Finland, France, and Peru) competed in the competition. Teams worked on three Global Scaling Challenges for high tech firms. Student teams developed detailed scaling plans for RS21 at the qualifiers and for Proof Labs and Ideas Tek at the final competition.
