YSU set to welcome students to 2019-20 academic year

The 2019-20 academic year at Youngstown State University opens Monday, Aug. 19, and the university has planned a variety of activities to welcome students back to campus and to get the Fall semester off to a good start.

This year’s Welcome Week theme is “Here for It” and starts with Residence Hall Move-In on Thursday, Aug.15, and Ignite, a campus-wide activity for all first-year students, on Friday, Aug. 16. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 19. Welcome festivities continue through Saturday, Aug. 24, concluding with JD's Summer Songfest in downtown Youngstown.
