YSU Pre-Vet Career Night to showcase paths into animal-care fields

Students and prospective students can explore a range of veterinary and animal-related careers during Youngstown State University Pre Veterinary Society’s Career Night 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 6 in DeBartolo Hall 132 on the YSU campus.

YSU alumni working as veterinarians, veterinary students, pathologists, laboratory technicians, dog groomers and veterinary technicians will share how their experiences at Youngstown State University helped shape their careers. The session will also allow time at the end for questions for the speakers.

The free event offers an opportunity to hear firsthand what these careers are like, learn more about the paths into them and connect with professionals. Light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available in YSU’s M70 lot off Fifth Avenue.
