Youngstown State University to host Community Open House in Steubenville

Youngstown State University invites members of the community and prospective students and their families to attend an Open House 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at its Steubenville location, 4000 Sunset Blvd.

As part of its continued commitment to expanding access to affordable, high-quality education throughout the region, YSU has recently grown its presence in Steubenville to better serve students seeking in-demand career pathways close to home. The Open House offers an opportunity for the community to learn more about these efforts and the initial programs launching for Fall 2026.

During the event, attendees can connect with faculty and staff, explore certificate and degree options, receive one-on-one financial aid guidance and get help completing an application. The application fee will be waived for all new students who apply in person.

The event is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to stop by, ask questions and discover how YSU is creating new opportunities in the region.
