Youngstown State University earns national CAEP Accreditation for educator preparation programs

Youngstown State University’s Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education is proud to announce that it has earned national accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This prestigious recognition affirms YSU’s excellence in preparing future educators and its commitment to their development.

CAEP is the only national accreditor for educator preparation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The accreditation was awarded after a review process that confirmed YSU’s education programs meet or exceed CAEP’s nationally recognized standards.

The CAEP Accreditation includes the following elements:
