Youngstown State University has announced its events for Women’s History Month, including a field trip, panel, lectures and more. Women’s History Month is an annual celebration and commemoration of the lives and works of women in society. This year’s theme is strength.
The YSU Department of Women’s and Gender Studies hosts Chaya Milchtein for a workshop and lecture about the auto and mechanic industry on March 17.
The workshop, titled “Are All Mechanics Scammers?”, will be held from 3 to 4:15 p.m. in the Presidents’ Suites of Kilcawley Center. Milchtein’s lecture, “Queering the Industry,” will be held at 6 p.m. in the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor.
