WYSU exceeds $125K in fall fund drive

WYSU-FM 88.5 at Youngstown State University raised $125,317 during its fall membership drive.

Nearly 980 people made contributions, including 71 new members, during the three-and-a-half-day drive last month. The drive featured daily prize package giveaways and a grand prize trip for two to Spain, won by WYSU listener Carl Bauer of Canfield, Ohio.

Business, foundation and individual sponsor support for the drive was provided by: Dr. Barbara Brothers; Patricia Fleming; The Law Firm of Mansell & Andrews; Joe Martin; Monday Musical Club; William M. Neckerman, Jr. Charitable Foundation; John Rose; The Frances & Lillian Schermer Charitable Trusts; Gary and Susan Sexton; The Walter E. and Caroline Watson Foundation; and Homer Warren, all of whom provided matching funds during pledge periods.
