The Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University will conduct its Professional Development Summit and Meet the Employers Day virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Professional Development Summit will be Monday through Thursday, Aug. 31 through Sept. 3. The summit features a series of panels focusing on topics related to career development and professionalism so students are aware of the knowledge, skills and experiences employers expect of business majors. More than 30 speakers will share their experiences.
  • Meet the Employers Day will take place virtually on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16. There will be 31 employers attending the event to promote their companies and career opportunities, and network with WCBA students. This event provides employers the opportunity to identify students for internships and full-time positions.

“Meet the Employers Day is an excellent way for students to network with business professionals and learn about the different companies and opportunities locally, regionally, and nationally,” said Christina O’Connell, director, WCBA Center for Career Management. “Students have time to meet with employers and identify open internship and full-time job opportunities.”

The WCBA Center for Career Management is the single point of contact for WCBA students and organizations who want to employ WCBA students for internships and full-time jobs The Center works with employers to post internships and professional-level jobs and assists students with resumes, interviewing, and job search strategies. Employers interested in recruiting WCBA students should call 330-941-3660.
