Youngstown State University’s Wellness for Life Speaker Series will present “How to Leave a Legacy, Without Leaving a Mess: Lunch and Learn” 12 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
The free community luncheon will feature Judge Robert Rusu of the Mahoning County Probate Court and Greg Webber of Webber Funeral Homes, along with Youngstown State University faculty. Together, they will lead an engaging and informative discussion on how individuals and families can thoughtfully prepare for the future.
Planning ahead is one of the most meaningful ways to care for loved ones. During the two-hour session, speakers will provide practical guidance on wills and trusts, estate organization, downsizing, relocation, and the basics of funeral planning. Attendees will learn how to reduce confusion, prevent unnecessary stress for family members and ensure their wishes are clearly documented.
Let’s face it — no one wants to leave behind boxes of mystery items and a mountain of paperwork. This session is designed to make estate planning approachable, understandable and even a little entertaining. Participants will leave feeling informed, empowered and equipped with tools to create peace of mind for themselves and their families.
The Wellness for Life Speaker Series promotes health education, lifelong learning and personal well-being through expert-led programs offered to the community.
