  • OnlineColleges.com lists YSU in its ranking of best online colleges in Ohio for 2019-20. The ranking is based on data from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics and includes the number of online programs, average financial aid awarded and the ratio of on-campus to online students.   • Value Colleges ranks YSU 14th in nation in its list of the Top 25 Lowest Out-of-State Tuition Colleges for 2019. Value Colleges’ national rankings are based on value and affordability of colleges and universities nationwide. “Your place in the VC Best Value ranking tells students that they can trust your program to provide not only an education, but an entry to a rewarding career,” said Rhonda Corey, VC’s media manager.
     
  • OnlineMasters.com includes several YSU master’s degree programs on its “Best” list for 2019, including programs in Health Administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Economics and Health Services. Programs are ranked based on academic quality, student success and affordability.
     
  • ComputerTrainingSchools.com ranks YSU #2 in a study of the best computer science and IT schools in Ohio. The ranking based on data from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics and College Scorecard tool and includes factors like tuition, graduation rate, the number of related tech programs, and programs awarded via cyberlearning, among others.   • Nursingprocess.org ranks YSU’s RN to BSN nursing program in the top 10 in Ohio. The ranking is based on NCLEX pass rates, cost, student to faculty ratio and graduation rates. Nursingprocess.org, founded in 2011, provides education and career information about nursing and other health care occupations.
