"Tee-idle Dum Dum": Choral Concert this week in Bliss Hall

Youngstown State University’s new barbershop quarter, “One Achord,” is featured in the Dana School of Music’s Spring Choral Concert 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in Bliss Recital Hall on the YSU campus. The concert, which also features the University Chorus, is free and open to the public. “One Achord” is a volunteer vocal chamber ensemble that was formed last fall. It first appeared in the annual Carols and Cocoa concert in December. Dana faculty member Hae-Jong Lee is the director. The quartet performs the Star Spangled Banner, I Love a Barbershop Song, My Wild Irish Rose and the Honey/Little’Lize Medley, as well as Tee-idle Dum Dum, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Jingle Bells, and Irish Blessing. The University Chorus performs Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears, The Music’s Always There With You, Can You Hear, Nine Hundred Miles, I’ll Be There and The Storm is Passing Over Parking is available in the Wick Avenue deck for a nominal fee.
