Steel Museum hosts "The History Fund" workshop May 21

Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor and Americorps hosts the sixth and final toolbox workshop at noon Saturday, May 21 at the museum on Wood Street in Youngstown. The free workshop, entitled “The History Fund: Grants for History Projects from the Ohio History Connection,” is presented by Andy Verhoff, Ohio History Fund grant coordinator. Verhoff will help take the mystery out of History project grants with sound advice and ideas. For reservations, call 330-941-3459. The Toolbox Workshop series is designed to provide historical society members, volunteers, historians and all interested individuals with information, education and fellowship with like-minded people in the community. It brings history professionals to the area who share their experiences & knowledge on a variety of topics The workshops are provided free of charge by AmeriCorps, the Ohio History Connection, Youngstown State University and the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor (the Steel Museum).
