Pipino Series presents "one of the world’s classical guitar virtuosos"

René IzquierdoClassical guitarist René Izquierdo performs 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, in the Butler Institute of American Art’s North Hall as part of Youngstown State University’s Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series.

Tickets are available online at www.deyorpac.org: $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens, YSU faculty and staff, $5.25 for youths. Tickets for children 12 and under and YSU students are free. (Convenience fees will be added.)

Izquierdo presents a free masterclass noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in YSU’s Bliss Recital Hall. No registration is needed.

Izquierdo (reneizquierdoguitar.com) is a Cuban-born artist who has firmly established himself as one of the world’s classical guitar virtuosos. He has performed to critical acclaim touring throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia on stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Manaus Opera House in Brazil, and National Recital Hall in Taiwan.
