The Office of Human Resources is moving as part of a plan to eventually establish a new Student Success Center in Jones Hall.HR, now on the third floor of Jones, is relocating to the third floor of Tod Hall.The move is being made to help make way for a proposed new Student Success Center on the third floor of Jones. Plans include consolidating all services related to student retention and success in the new center.That means the offices of Assessment, Degree Audit, General Education, and Associate Degree/Tech Prep Programs, now on the third floor of Tod Hall, are moving to the third floor of Jones Hall.Mike Reagle, associate vice president for Student Success, said the full scope of the new Student Success Center is still in the planning stages.“We are committed to providing the best services possible to help students succeed in the classroom and graduate on time,” Reagle said. “To accomplish that and for the convenience of our students, we will continue to work toward bringing all of those services together under one roof.”The moves to and from Jones and Tod halls are taking place during March and April.“This is an exciting change for the university,” said Holly Jacobs, general counsel and vice president for Legal Affairs and Human Resources. “It allows us to begin to create a vision for a new Student Success Center and also allows us to realize greater efficiencies by moving Human Resources to Tod Hall.”
