In memoriam...Madalyn (Mada) Janosik

Madalyn (Mada) Janosik, 73, who taught 25 years in the Department of Nursing, passed away Aug. 4 in Hospice House in Poland.

Janosik began teaching at YSU in 1987 and retired in 2012. She taught mental health nursing to all entry-level BSN students. During her years at YSU, she created the Gerald Janosik Scholarship Fund in Social Work in memory of her late husband.
