The Spring 2026 Graduating BFA Exhibition, featuring the art and design work of students graduating in the spring semester from the Department of Art at Youngstown State University, will open at the John J. McDonough Museum of Art on Friday, April 17, and run through Saturday, May 2. An opening reception will take place 5 - 7 p.m., Friday, April 17.
The Graduating BFA Exhibition is an opportunity for students to share the original and innovative discoveries they have made in their artistic journeys, communicating their creative expressions of human experience to the public. Students in the Department of Art work closely with nationally and internationally known faculty engaged in a broad range of art and design practices.
Participants in the exhibition include Lauren Barrett, Jamie Beasley, Olivia Carpenter, Amaya Carter, Lilly Fairall, Dakota Flatley, Alina Handte, Richard Kritz, Asia Mahon, Juan Marin, Gianna Memo, Ronnie Owens, Delaney Pallo, Annetta Sanders and Sarah Sharber.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. The McDonough Museum is open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
