Business college names director of Career Management

Christina Costello of Austintown, Ohio, has been hired as the director of the Center of Career Management in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University.

Costello will lead all aspects of career development, professional development, placement and the internship and cooperative education for undergraduate and graduate students in the WCBA.

The Center for Career Management will focus on activities, programs and services with the career management continuum of our undergraduate and graduate students.

“Christina has a strong track record in working with our students and is highly regarded by students, faculty, staff and employers,” said Betty Jo Licata, WCBA dean.

Costello earned three degrees from YSU – bachelor of Education, master of Education with emphasis in Student Affairs Leadership and Practice, and a master in Business Administration. She previously served as the assistant coordinator in the WCBA Office of Professional Practice under the Program for Internships and Co-ops in Advanced Manufacturing and Related Industries grant through the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops initiative.
