The Academic Division is at the core of YSU – teaching, mentoring, creating, achieving, succeeding. And at the center of that are Our Colleges – six distinct organizational units that carry out the primary mission, vision and goals of the university.

In this edition of Y magazine, we recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Our Colleges – their talented faculty, their outstanding students, their successful alumni and their many nationally-recognized programs and initiatives that have helped shape the lives and communities they serve.

While each of Our Colleges has its particular history, role and environment, they share common goals – empowering students to realize their aspirations, fostering a community of intellectual, social and ethical growth, and creating mutually-beneficial partnerships to achieve equitable and innovative development across the region.
