The 60 semester hour Master of Social Work (MSW) professional program includes theoretical and applied courses in social work and internship engagements under the supervision of professional social workers in regional social service agencies. The program emphasizes advanced social work practice with individuals and families, the client strength’s perspective, and social services leadership. Courses are available at the Holden University Center weekday evenings and Saturdays. The three year curriculum includes coursework the first year and coursework and internship engagement the second and third years of the program.

Students are entered in the MSW program once a year in the Fall semester only. YSU follows a 16 week semester calendar August to May.
