Evening with Honors (virtual opportunity)

Interested in learning what it's like to be an honors student at Youngstown State University? Spend "An Evening with Honors" on Thursday, January 15 at 6 PM! This is your opportunity to interact with current honors students, staff, and professors in a small virtual group setting. We can help answer your questions about attending YSU, becoming a part of our honors community, or getting prepped for college. We also want to learn more about you, our future Penguins! Spend the afternoon with YSU Sokolov Honors College faculty, staff, and students on Wednesday, April 1 at 4 PM. Learn more about the honors and YSU experience and get answers to your questions. Register to attend here.

BaccMed Camp 2026

Prospective students interested in learning more about early assurance pathway options to medical, dental, and podiatry school are invited to attend YSU BaccMed Camp 2026. Join us Tuesday, June 16 from 8:30 AM - 3 PM to learn more.  Students will have the chance to tour campus, meet students, faculty, and staff from YSU and partner schools. Register here by June 12 to attend.

Penguin Preview Day is a one-stop shop for all things YSU. Explore buildings and classes, talk to professors and students, and learn about majors and offerings — all on your own terms. Don't forget to stop by and meet our honors staff and students as well! Find more information and register here.
