End of Semester Procedures

The following information can help answer frequently asked questions about common Blackboard procedures for the end of the semester. If you cannot locate an answer or need additional assistance, please contact the IDDC at iddc@ysu.edu or x1535.
 

How long will students be able to access the course after the end of the term?

By default, students will have access to the course for 7 days after the last day of the term. After 7 days, they will no longer be able to access the course.
 

A student needed to take an incomplete this term, can they access the course after the end fo the term to complete their work?

You can adjust the availability dates of your course for students to access it past the standard 7 days after the end of the term. Contact iddc@ysu.edu to have these dates adjusted.
 

As an instructor, will I lose access to my course?

No, you will be able to access courses from previous semesters. Filter the course page to show previous semesters.

can i download the gradebook from my course?

Yes, you can download the gradebook in both Original and Ultra as a .csv file. If you need assistance, contact iddc@ysu.edu.
