BIO

Jennifer Walker is a media artist and teacher whose work explores the intersections of film, technology, and education. Drawing on her background in both non-fiction and instructional media, Jennifer encourages students to explore cinema as both a creative practice and a cultural form.

In addition to her teaching, Jennifer serves as Associate Director of Instructional Media at Boston College’s Center for Digital Innovation in Learning, where she leads media production initiatives that support teaching and research across disciplines. Her creative and professional work has earned multiple New England Regional Emmy nominations, and her films have been screened at festivals and exhibitions in the United States and abroad.

She holds an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard University, an M.F.A. in Media Art from Emerson College, and a B.S. in Film and Television from Boston University.
