• Parking Permit

  To order a parking permit:

  1. Login to your My YSU account
  2. Under e-Services for students, click on Request Parking Pass
  3. Enter registration term, license plate and make/model of car, and submit
  4. Be sure to print your temporary tag as this will grant you access to park on campus until your pass arrives in the mail!

• Financial Aid

  The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is located in Meshel Hall, Room 203. From campus core, enter the Wick Avenue bridge that connects to the parking deck. Halfway across the bridge is an entrance to the second floor of Meshel Hall. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is located on the left.

  The Tech Desk is located on the fourth floor of Maag Library. It is the first stop for all student, faculty and staff needs when it comes to IT questions and concerns.

  *Please note that without a Social Security Number (SSN), those who have guest accounts must contact the YSU Tech Desk for account set up.

  To activate your YSU account:

  1. Go to mypassword.ysu.edu
  2. Click 'Activate New Account'
  3. Enter verification code and required information
     1. Login ID
     2. Banner 'Y' number
     3. Last 4 digits of SSN
     4. Date of Birth (YYYYMMDD)
     5. Click to activate
  4. Enter your new password, following password requirements

   

  To change your current password:

  1. Go to mypassword.ysu.edu
  2. Reset expired password, and follow steps

   

  To reigster for classes:

  1. Login to your My YSU portal
  2. Under e-Services for Students, choose 'Register for Classes'
  3. Select registration term to register

   

  To access Personal Information or time cards for hourly employees:

  1. Login to your My YSU portal
  2. Under e-Services for Faculty and Staff, choose 'Banner Self Service'
  3. Toggle between tabs at the top to choose and update Personal Information, or Employee to submit time sheets and access pay stubs
