IT Customer Services

 IT Customer Services teams are:

  • IT Service Desk, the first point-of-contact for all YSU technology questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Campus Technology Support (CTS), implementing and supporting academic/administrative technologies (computing and audio visual software, systems, services and environments) on site and remotely.
  • IT Maintenance Services, standardizing, deploying, maintaining, and appropriately removing from service YSU technology hardware.

IT Customer Services Mission Statement

Simply stated, IT Customer Services (ITCS) endeavors daily to support the strategic technology needs of our Youngstown State University community. ITCS:

  • resolves individual requests to address technology issues
  • outfits & updates technologies available in teaching spaces and labs
  • defines standards to streamline the implementation and use of technologies
  • manages projects to provide industry-leading, highly available and reliable business systems
  • builds a technology foundation to more effectively and efficiently deploy tech services
  • helps students, faculty & staff, better understand, use and/or secure technology systems
