Black History Month events to be held

Youngstown State University will host a series of events in recognition of Black History Month, featuring exhibits, lectures and cultural programming. All events are free and open to the public.

Feb. 2–28, 2026
“Wrinkles in the Smile of Divinity”
Judith Rae Solomon Gallery, Bliss Hall, Youngstown State University

Artist Davon Brantley will present a lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the McDonough Museum of Art, followed by an opening reception from 6:30–8 p.m. at the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery, Bliss Hall.
